Widow, son identify ‘hitman’ in Shahid Hamid murder case |

[DAWN] Nineteen years after the killing of managing director of the then Bloody Karachi ...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... Electric Supply Corporation Shahid Hamid, his widow and son picked out a suspect as one of the four hitmen during an identification parade held before a judicial magistrate on Saturday. The suspect -- Muhammad Minhaj Qazi alias Asad -- along with his accomplices has been booked in a case pertaining to the July 5, 1997 killing of the then KESC MD, his driver and a guard in the Defence Housing Authority. |
