| Aleppo: Tens of civilians freed by Kurdish militia after swap deal with rebels |

| [EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] Dozen of families held captive by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces in the neighborhood of Sheikh Maksoud in Aleppo city have been freed due to swap deal with Division 16 who released 16 SDF militants in return, the rebel group said on Wednesday. A footage posted on social media by the Division 16 said tens of civilians including women and children, have been freed in the exchange deal. The freed militants were fighting under banner of Jaish al-Thuwar, key unit in the Kurdish-led alliance. On Monday, a similar deal took place between SDF and Ahrar la-Sham movement in the Kurdish-dominated neighborhood of Sheikh Maksoud. |
