2 ISIS bombers die in Haditha

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Sunday, a source in the army’s 7th brigade in Anbar Province announced, that a security force managed to kill two ISIS suicide bombers while trying to sneak into al-Sekak area in Haditha District.

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Two ISIS suicide bombers wearing explosive belts managed, at dawn today, to sneak into al-Sekak area in al-Haqlaniya vicinity south of Haditha District,” pointing out that, “The suicide bombers came from Wadi Horan desert southwest of Haditha.”

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added, “A force from the army’s 7th brigade and tribal fighter managed to besiege the suicide bombers inside one of the houses in al-Sekak area and killed them.”

9 ISIS Turbans die in airstrike

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The commander of Anbar Operations Major General Ismail al-Mahalawi announced on Sunday, that nine terrorists belonging to the so-called ISIS were killed in bombardments carried out by the international coalition and Army Aviation in different areas of the province.

Mahalawi said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The international coalition aviation backed by a force from the Iraqi army managed to bombard a hideout belonging to ISIS terrorists in al-Subaihat area west of Fallujah, destroying the hideout and killing two ISIS members inside it.”

Mahalawi added, “The Army Aviation also managed to bombard two vehicles belonging to ISIS in Albu Ali al-Jassim area north of Ramadi,” pointing out that, “The bombardment resulted in the destruction of the vehicles, as well as killing seven ISIS terrorists.”

Iraqi warbirds destroy IED factory near Fallujah

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Sunday, official journalists with the Ministry of Defense announced, that the Iraqi F16 fighter jets destroyed a laboratory for manufacturing improvised explosive devices and killed dozens of ISIS members in Fallujah District.

The journalists said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The Iraqi Air Force conducted a number of air strikes in Fallujah District, based on accurate intelligence information, and destructed a laboratory for manufacturing improvised explosive devices belonging to ISIS, as well as killing dozens of ISIS terrorists and burning two vehicles.”

The statement added, “The strikes also resulted in the destruction of the so-called ISIS Sharia Court.”

5 ISIS Bad Guys die neat al-Futba

(IraqiNews.com) The Mayor of Rutba District Emad al-Dulaimi announced on Sunday the killing of five ISIS suicide bombers during violent clashes with the security forces and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia in the center of the district.

Dulaimi said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Five suicide bombers belonging to the ISIS were hiding inside one of the houses in the neighborhood of al-Hara in central Rutba (440 km west of Ramadi) attempted to attack the security forces, resulting in violent clashes with them.”

Dulaimi added, “Four elements of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi were injured during the confrontations,” asserting that, “The five suicide bombers were killed.”

5 more ISIS bombers caught, killed near Haditha

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – A source in the leadership of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi in Anbar Province announced on Sunday, that the security forces were able to repel an ISIS attack and kill five ISIS elements in the southern axis of Haditha west of Ramadi.

The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The joint security forces had managed to repel an attack by ISIS on the southern axis of Haditha District (170 km west of Ramadi), resulting in the death of five [ISIS] elements.”

The source added, “The security forces began to expand its presence in the southern axis of Haditha in order to address any potential breach.”
