2016-05-24 | ||
[TODAY.NG] There are indications that the Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... gunnies group have shown willingness to negotiate their surrender and release of the remaining kidnapped Chibok school girls in their custody with the federal government.
Over 200 students of the Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, were seized two years ago and have not been traced or found. "We want to surrender because things are getting worse," said Amir Muhammad Abdullahi, who is reportedly Boko Haram’s second in command. He said no side was winning the battle and that only a third of the girls remained as "the rest have been martyred".
