| 600 flee ISIS areas in Ninevah (IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – On Saturday, Peshmerga forces in Makhmur announced receiving about 600 people who fled from the areas controlled by ISIS, while pointed out that these civilians are suffering from bad health conditions. The Peshmerga forces in Makhmur said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Peshmerga forces in Makhmur received about 600 people who fled from the areas controlled by ISIS near Mosul,” pointing out that, “Those people will be accommodated in secure places.” The statement added, “The escaped people also included women and children, and the majority of them are suffering from bad health conditions.” ISIS executes 3 in al-Mahouz, Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – On Saturday, a security source in Kirkuk province said, that the so-called ISIS had executed three civilians on charges of cooperating with the government agencies southwest of the province. The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Today, elements of the ISIS carried out the execution of three civilians by beheading them in the village of al-Mahouz in the district of al-Hawija (55 km southwest of Kirkuk),” pointing out that, “The execution was carried out after the [ISIS] court in Hawija had issued a death sentence against them.” The source added, “The civilians were charged with cooperating with the Iraqi government and the Peshmerga forces.” |
