PA police push back protesters at Joseph’s Tomb
2016-06-06
[IsraelTimes] Crowd reportedly tries to set the Jewish shrine on fire after rumors spread of Paleostinian teen’s death

Paleostinian security forces managed to push back protesters who were advancing on the Joseph’s Tomb shrine late Saturday. According to Hebrew media reports, the protesters tried to set the site on fire.

The demonstration began Saturday night after the Paleostinian Health Ministry reported that a maimed Paleostinian teen, said to have been hurt by IDF fire on Thursday after allegedly trying to throw a Molotov cocktail at Jews praying at the site, had taken a turn for the worse in hospital.

After rumors spread through the city that Jamal Dawiqat, 20, of the nearby Balata Refugee Camp, had died, protesters erupted into the streets, setting tires on fire and clashing with PA police.

Paleostinian forces surrounded the shrine and fired tear gas at the crowd, which soon dispersed. There were no immediate reports of injuries from the festivities.

The Paleostinian Health Ministry has reportedly denied the rumors of Dawiqat’s death.

Earlier Saturday, shots were fired at an Israeli vehicle near Migdalim Junction in the northern West Bank. The shots reportedly came from cement trucks parked on the side of the road. No one was hurt in the attack.

Shots fired at Israeli bus near Nablus, Hebron military post firebombed

[IsraelTimes] No injuries reported but vehicle sustains damage; bus also attacked with rocks near settlement of Adam

An Israeli bus traveling near Nablus in the West Bank was shot at on Sunday evening, resulting in damage to the vehicle but no injuries. The attack occurred on the Hawara highway near the Paleostinian village by the same name, just south of Nablus. The windshield was damaged by the bullets, according to initial reports.

It was not immediately clear if the bus was armored, as many in the West Bank are, or who was traveling in the vehicle.

Security forces were on the scene scouring for the gunman or gunnies, the IDF said in a statement.

Another bus traveling in the West Bank on a road between the settlement of Adam and the Paleostinian village of Hizme came under a hail of stones Sunday evening, causing damage to the windshield of the vehicle. The bus driver sustained light injuries, according to reports.

Elsewhere in the West Bank, a Molotov cocktail was hurled at a military position in Hebron. There were no injuries and no damage reported in that incident.
Ramadan starts today, which means Muslims neither eat nor drink during the day for a month... and that part of the world is in a bit of a heat wave. So either there will be more violence or even less than the little we've been seeing recently.

#2  I believe the moon god worshipers also considers Joseph’s Tomb one of the 'holiest places' in their ROP.

Could be wrong, but don't think so.

I see how this works. You grasp at the first excuse you see for violence, destroy something permanently that is important to other religions. Rinse and repeat as necessary.

This can work both ways, Paleos.
