| 12 Taliban militants killed during clash with Khost residents |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least 12 Taliban murderous Moslems were killed during a shootout with the local residents in eastern Khost province ... across the border from Miranshah, within commuting distance of Haqqani hangouts such as Datta Khel and probably within sight of Mordor. Khost is populated by six different tribes of Pashtuns, the largest probably being the Khostwal, from which it takes its name... of Afghanistan. According to the local security officials, the Taliban murderous Moslems were killed after attacking the residential houses in Zazai Maidan district. The district security chief General Azizullah said the local residents responded to the Taliban attack in Deri Mila area with the support of the Afghan cops. He said a local resident was killed and two others were maimed during the shootout with the bad boys. Gen. Azizullah further added that the Taliban murderous Moslems have fled on the other side of Durand Line from where they are targeting the residential houses with rockets. |
