2 die in suicide bombing attack in Haditha

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Tuesday, al-Somoud brigade in Haditha in Anbar Province announced, that two women had been killed in a suicide attack on Haditha Asphalt Factory in northern the district, while pointed out that the security forces foiled three other suicide attacks.

The intelligence director of al-Somoud brigade in Haditha, Lieutenant Colonel Nazim al-Jaghifi said in a press interview followed by IraqiNews.com, “Today, ISIS attacked Haditha Asphalt Factory in northern the district with four suicide bombers wearing explosive belts,” pointing out that, “The joint security forces managed to kill three suicide bombers, while the fourth blew up himself, killing two women.”

Jaghifi added, “ISIS members were planning to attack Haditha Asphalt Factory and boob-trap vehicles inside it, in order to use them to target the main entrances of the city.”

4 ISIS Bad Guys die in Iraqi artillery strike

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The commander of Anbar Operations Command, Maj. Gen. Ismail al-Mahalawi, announced on Tuesday the killing and wounding of 10 ISIS members during an artillery shelling north of the city of Ramadi.

Mahalawi said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The army artillery shelled a [site] for ISIS north of Albu Ziyab area north of the city of Ramadi,” adding that, “The shelling resulted in the destruction of the [site], in addition to killing four elements of the [ISIS] and wounding six others.”

Earlier today, Anbar Operations Command announced killing six ISIS elements during an aerial bombing by the international coalition aviation west of Fallujah.

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The commander of Anbar Operations, Maj. Gen. Ismail al-Mahalawi, announced on Tuesday the killing of six ISIS elements during an aerial bombardment by the international coalition aviation west of Fallujah.

Mahalawi said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The international coalition aviation bombed, today, a hideout belonging to the ISIS terrorists in the area of al-Fallahat west of Fallujah (40 km east of Ramadi), resulting in the destruction of [the hideout], in addition to killing six ISIS terrorists inside [it].”
