| Daesh blows up ancient monuments in Iraq |

| [Iran Press TV] A recent video, purportedly released by the ISIS Takfiri ...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who must be killed... terrorists, shows the destruction of several ancient monuments in northern Iraq by the terrorist group. In the video, a bully boy dressed in black vows to destroy the 2,500-year-old temple of Nabu in the ISIS-held Iraqi ancient Assyrian city of Nimrud before a massive blast reduces a building to rubble. Information signs on the Nabu temple wall before the kaboom are also shown from a number of different angles. It is not known when the ISIS gunnies targeted the Nabu temple. The footage also shows the destruction of the reconstructed Adad and Mashki Gates and a large portion of Nineveh’s fortification wall. Takfiri ISIS has destroyed several ancient monuments in northern Iraq and neighboring Syria. Earlier this year, shocking pictures showed how ISIS gunnies had destroyed ancient monuments in the Syrian city of Palmyra. The gunnies sparked a global fury when they started destroying Palmyra's treasured monuments. |

| #2 Crimes against Crimes against history. If history is destroyed, your traditions become whatever they tell you. This is a more extreme form of the "politically correct" movement censoring history. For ancient history, this is important because so few ancient artifacts have been recovered, and even fewer were recovered in a scientific way so that we can understand the artifacts in context. P.S. Nimrud is in the Bible as the city of Calah Genesis 10. ISIS has been destroying and looting the site since April, 2015. Al |
