| Boko Haram attacks Yobe town, 2 security men missing |

The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... forces of Evil attacked and maimed three security operatives in Kanamma, the headquarters of Yunusari Local Government Area of Yobe State. A resident who fled to neighbouring Niger Republic told our correspondent on Tuesday that the attackers stormed the town on four cycle of violences, each carrying three gunnies. "They shot sporadically and everyone scampered for safety. They burgled soft drinks shops and loaded them onto two vehicles they seized from security operatives and fled," he said Police Public Relation Officer, ASP Toyin Gbadegesin, who confirmed the attack, said three coppers were maimed during the encounter while two were still missing. "No human casualty was recorded. But three coppers were maimed while two others got missing. It’s difficult to ascertain the security personnel involved because there’s no mobile network in the area," he said. |
