| Iraqi forces shoot down ISIS drone in Ninevah |

| (IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – On Monday, a security force managed to shoot down a drone belonging to ISIS while it was flying above a village in Qayyarah, south of Mosul (170 km north of Baghdad). In a press statement, a copy of which was obtained by Iraqi News, it was stated, “A force from the army’s 72nd brigade monitored a drone while flying above Kharaeb Jabr village near Qayyarah. The drone was used by ISIS for spying.” The statement further added, “The security forces shot the drone and managed to drop it near the village, south of Mosul.” |
