| Gunmen Storm Paghman Mosque, Three Civilians Killed |

| Gunmen on Wednesday stormed a mosque in Paghman district of Kabul province killing at least three people and wounding three others. The attack happened while the people were praying inside the mosque. The gunmen were apparently wearing military uniforms. "We were praying when they opened fire, they killed our friends. I was near the window and escaped from there," eye witness Ezmarai Khan said. "The security situation is deteriorating in the area. Landmines are exploding, bridges are being blown up, they even attacked us inside the mosque," Paghman resident Mohammad Imran said. It is said that two of the dead in the mosque attack were government employees. Shaifullah, a resident of Paghman whose brother was also killed in the attack, said that the presence of Daesh and Taliban in Paghman is concerning. "They killed several police officers near the bridge, but no one cares about it. The government is lying when they tell us everything is OK in Paghman, Daesh and Taliban are in Paghman, " he said.
