| ALP commander critically wounded in an explosion in Parwan |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] A commander of the Afghan Local Police (ALP) forces was critically maimed in an kaboom in northern Parwan province of Afghanistan. The provincial criminal investigation department chief Gen. Abdul Samad Zalmai said the incident took place in Charikar city earlier today. He said the incident took place near the provincial government’s office in Charikar city but did not disclose further information. In the meantime, another local security official, said an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted in a cycle of violence belonging to ALP commander exploded earlier today. The official further added that the ALP commander lost his two legs in the kaboom and no casualites were incurred to the security personnel or civilians. |
