Turkey, coalition forces kill 8 ISIL militants in northern Syria |

ISIL was reportedly preparing to attack Turkey from northern Syria, the sources added. Meanwhile, Turkish warplanes also carried out airstrikes on the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) targets in Iraq's Hakurk region and Turkey's southeastern provinces on June 24. According to Turkish General Staff’s statement issued on Jan 25, Turkish fighter jets bombed Hakurk region between 19:00 GMT and 19:46 GMT, and destroyed two targets. Eleven PKK targets were also destroyed in Turkey's Kars, Şırnak and Hakkari provinces, the statement added. |
