(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A source from Kirkuk Province informed that joint security forces arrested eight ISIS members and recovered a cache of explosives and an explosive belt from their possession. The arrest was made towards southeast of the province. Revealing details, the source informed, “A team of from Kirkuk police and Asayish on Tuesday arrested eight ISIS members in Binga Ali southeast of Kirkuk. The security forces also seized a taxi, two motorcycles, an explosive belt, two chlorine containers, a number of hand grenades and a gun.” Adding further the source said, “The militants were planning to carry out subersive activities across Kirkuk.” 14 ISIS members killed in coalition air strike southwest of Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk Province stated, that air strikes southwest of Kirkuk have left with 27 casualties to ISIS. According to information shared by the source, it was stated, “Today, a number of warplanes targeted ISIS’ legal court and Diwan al-Hisba in the center of Hawija district, killing 14 ISIS members and wounding 13 others.” The source added, “The air strike was conducted in coordination with the intelligence services that located the ISIS members.” | |
