[RFE/RL] An appeals court in Bosnia-Herzegovina has upheld a prison sentence against a former beauty queen who was charged with luring a Bosnian mafia boss into a trap so his rival could attempt to kill him.Former model Slobodanka Tosic was jailed for two-and-a-half years for arranging a date with organized crime boss Djordje Zdrale in 2006 and betraying him to his rival, Darko Elez. Zdrale was injured in the assassination attempt but managed to escape.
Zdrale, who is serving a 20-year sentence for an unrelated murder, was brought from his cell to testify against Tosic.
Tosic, who was charged as an accomplice in the plot, had been awarded the title of "Miss Bosnia" in 2005. She appeared on the cover of Serbian Playboy magazine in 2008 and later became a participant in the reality TV show Survivor.
