| Yemeni Army, Popular Committees Repel Saudi-led Mercenaries’ Attack on Haradh |

| [ENGLISH.ALMANAR.LB] The Yemeni army and popular committees managed on Thursday to repel an attack launched by the Saudi-led mercenaries on Haradh city in Hijja province near border with KSA. The Saudi warplanes fruitlessly attempted to save the attackers by a large number of raids, as the Yemeni army and popular committees killed or injured scores of bully boyz and gunnies. The Saudi-led escalation in the battlefield comes in the context of an attempt to thwart Kuwait negotiations which aim at reaching a peaceful solution for the Yemeni crisis. The Yemeni army and popular committees also launched a ballistic missile on the Saudi National Guard post in Najran. Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to runaway ex-president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor.
