Iraqi militiaman dies in car bomb attack in Abu Ghraib

(IraqiNews.com) BAGHDAD – A source in the Iraqi Interior Ministry informed on Tuesday that a bomb blast west of Baghdad killed one al-Hashd al-Shaabi member and injured four others.

“These five members of the Iraqi militia were on a patrol and passing through Abu Ghraib, west of Baghdad. Police imposed strict measures around the bomb site and ambulances transferred the injured to a nearby hospital,” the source further added.

5 wounded in car bomb attack in SW Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in in the Ministry of Interior informed that five persons were wounded in car bomb explosion southwest of Baghdad.

According to information, shared by the source, “A car parked near the Japanese house in al-Amel neighborhood southwest of Baghdad exploded, this evening, wounding five persons.”

The source added, “Ambulances rushed to the area and transferred the wounded to al-Yarmouk Hospital.”

Kop dies in rigged bomb attack

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police informed that a police officer was killed in western Baghdad when the vehicle in which he was travelling exploded.

“An adhesive bomb was placed under his vehicle. The explosion took place this morning while he was passing through al-Adl neighborhood in western Baghdad,” the source added while speaking to Iraqi News.

Adding further the source said, “Security forces rushed to the blast area and transferred the dead body to the forensic department.”

Iraqi militia HQ hit by bomb attack

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Iraqi security sources informed that a number of unidentified men targeted one of the headquarters of al-Hahsd al-Shaabi at Karada in central Baghdad.

According to information shared by the sources, it was stated, “The headquarters, belonging to Babylon Brigades, was targeted by an IED.”

“The headquarters was hosting a meeting that included senior leaders of al-Hashd al-Shaabi,” the sources added.
