[Gulf Today] Five Philippine soldiers and two Maoist militants were killed as heavy fighting broke out anew following the cancellation by President Rodrigo Duterte of the unilateral ceasefire he had declared with the rebels.Military spokesman Restituto Padilla said the four soldiers were killed in separate attacks by the NPA in the town of Monkayo, Compostela Valley on Friday.
