| #1 Australia has just passed a law criminalising anyone who criticises Islam or makes fun of it this is leading instantly to more censorship and dishonest reporting as this mainstream story on the Thai bombings immediately diverts blame to political unrest due to the military coup despite the motive not yet being established http://www.smh.com.au/world/two-explosions-hit-thailand-tourist-resort-town-of-hua-hin-report-20160811-gqqp94.html It may just as easily be an Islamist theocrat attack, it has happened before in Thailand. But the important thing is to write in the story: the motive is as yet unknown and either speculate on all possibilities or none. but not to misdirect blame before it is even known |
