| Gang involved in kidnap of women busted |

| [DAWN] KARACHI: The Pakistain Rangers, Sindh, on Sunday claimed to have busted a gang allegedly involved in kidnapping of women in Punjab. Acting on a tip-off, [RING!] Cop shoppe! Sergeant Shafiq speaking! Lissen! Dis is Mahmoud da Weasel! I got a tip for youse... the paramilitary force and Rangers Special Task Force carried out a joint action in an area in Jacobabad and locked away Drop the rosco, Muggsy, or you're one with the ages! two suspects involved in kidnapping of women belonging to Punjab, according to a Rangers spokesperson. The held suspects identified as Punhal and Rajab had kidnapped two women in Multan and brought them to Jacobabad and demanded a ransom from their families. The relatives of the kidnapped women approached the Rangers, who conducted a targeted raid and recovered both women. The held kidnappers were later on handed over to police for further legal action, said the Rangers press statement. |
