Lions of Islam based in the Al-Bab, ISIS’s largest stronghold in Aleppo, mobilized for a massive attack on Syrian Army positions in the vicinity of the Kuweirus Air Base that lies in Aleppo’s eastern countryside. Prior to their assaults, they sent several VBIEDs to the villages north of the base with festivities reported inside the government-held village of Nasrallah. Russian/ Syrian pilots have been working overtime attempting to upset the desperate ISIS offensive that is most likely aimed at setting up a considerable buffer zone around the city ahead of an impending attack by the SDF. |
