| Taliban rocket kills 2, injures 49 others in East of Afghanistan |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least 2 people were killed and 49 others were maimed in a rocket attack by Talibs in eastern Kunar province ... which is right down the road from Chitral. Kunar is Haqqani country..... of Afghanistan. According to the local government officials, the incident took place in Asabad city, the picturesque provincial capital of Kunar province today. Provincial governor Wahidullah Kalimzai said the Talibs fired the rocket to disrupt the local officials and residents to celebrate the 97th independence day of Afghanistan. |
