| New deal reached for Hasakah in Hmeimim Base |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] Syrian government officials reportedly met with YPG and Asayish leaderships in the Russian Hmeimim Base to negotiate a lasting ceasefire under Russian supervision. Three main points were agreed upon: The security box in Hasakah is to remain under the control of the local police force while Brigades 121 and 123 in Kawkab region in eastern Hasakah are to be under the control of the Syrian Army. Asayish units are to withdraw to their previous points of control. Police stations to be given back to police officeers and interior ministry forces to be given the role of protecting governmental institutions including the prisons and immigration/passport offices. |
