| PKK vows to defend YPG from Turkish invasion into northern Syria |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] A senior military official of the PKK, Duran Kalkan, said the Kurdish myrmidon group was "ready to do anything" to defend Rojava, a region in northern Syria controlled by Kurdish factions. In the statement released on Monday evening, Kalkan insisted the PKK would "deploy more forces to Rojava" if the Turkish Army would not immediately stop its attacks on the YPG. This comes amid a large-scale Turkish-backed offensive against ISIS and Kurdish factions in northeastern Aleppo.
