| Jamaat calls hartal for Wednesday |

| [Dhaka Tribune] Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has called a daylong hartal for Wednesday protesting the reinstatement of death sentence by the Supreme Court to condemned war criminal Mir Quasem Ali for his crimes against humanity during the 1971 Liberation War. |

| #1 Mir Quasem Ali was a student politico at a Bangladesh University during the Bangla Desh war. He headed up "interrogation" at a residence he commandeered and as long as his side was winning he was responsible for the kidnapping and murder of young resistance fighters who were Hindu.... and he was a Moslem. People he interrogated" died the chair. bad mistake. His side lost the war in 13 days. He ran for Sudi Arabia and made the mistake of coming back when Mujibar Rahman was killed. The Police picked him up and he was condemned by the courts after a trial. Things like that happen after you lose a war . he should have stayed in Saudi. What goes around, comes around. |
