ISIS executioner busted at Syrian border
(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The commander of Anbar 2nd regions’ border guards, Maj. Gen. Ammar al-Kubaisi, announced arresting a executioner belonging to ISIS in Ramadi, west of the city of Rutba.
Kubaisi said in a statement issued for Iraqi News, “Forces from the border guards’ Intelligence Command in Anbar, in cooperation with the people of Rutba, was able to arrest an ISIS executioner who is called Kaddouri Sahab.”
Kubaisi added, “The forces handed over the terrorist executioner to the Federal Police forces in Rutba city.”
Iraqi reinforcements arrive in Rutba
(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Wednesday, Mayor of Rutba district in Anbar province, Imad al-Dulaimi announced the arrival of reinforcements from the Iraqi army and police to the district.
Dulaimi said in a press statement, “Military reinforcements from the army and federal police arrived, today, to Rutba city (310 km west of Ramadi).”
Dulaimi added, “These troops are intended to protect Rutba city from the ISIS threat.”
ISIS Bad Guys get caught in Iraqi kill zone
(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – A military source in Anbar informed on Wednesday that dozens of ISIS members were killed in an aerial bombardment west of Anbar.
The source said, “Warplanes bombed ISIS sites in the areas of al-Hadala and al-Sikak north of al-Rutba City (310 km west of Ramadi), destructing the sites completely.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added, “The bombing resulted in the killing of dozens of ISIS terrorists, as well as causing considerable material and human losses in those locations.”
