#1 Shortly following the incipient crack-up of Yugoslavia that followed the death of Tito, many of the most vicious members of the "Ustashi", a Croatian murderous fascist Movement outlawed after 1945, made their way from asylum in South America to the homeland. Those Ustashi, notorious in Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil for their anti-Serb, anti-Semite and pro-fascist ideology blended quite well in post-Yugoslavia Croatia. And the remnants of the Ustashi remains entrenched to this date. |
