Former Klingon Chief Gates: Trump 'unfit to be commander-in-chief'
2016-09-18
[SeeBS] Former Defense Secretary Bob Gates savaged Donald Trump in a Wall Street Journal op-ed published Saturday, declaring the Republican presidential nominee "unqualified and unfit to be commander-in-chief."

"At least on national security, I believe Mr. Trump is beyond repair," Gates wrote. "He is stubbornly uninformed about the world and how to lead our country and government, and temperamentally unsuited to lead our men and women in uniform."

He offered some gentle criticism of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, urging her to be more candid on how she’d deal with China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran. He also suggested she suffers from "credibility issues" on national security and transparency,
Ya think?!
but he argued she "has time before the election to address forthrightly her trustworthiness, to reassure people about her judgment."

#9  I agree with Gates that Trump is unfit to be C-in-C; it's just that Clinton has already proven herself to be even more unfit. Lesser of evils...

#8  I used to like Gates, but to infer that Clinton can fix he lying ways in a month or two proves that he is puckering up to kiss her azz. That was a foolish statement, from a man that bent over for Obama only to run his yap later...

#7  she"has time before the election to address forthrightly her trustworthiness, to reassure people about her judgment."

50 days isn't enough time to allow her to address 25+ years of bald-faced lying, stealing, conspiring. To come that clean she'd be in prison for her offenses

#6  Of course Gates was completely unfit, except for being a sycophant, to be a sec of defense.

#5  Gates, the world class kiss-ass, hopes to be enshrined in the CIA pantheon of failures where Admiral Stansfield Turner and FNU Morrel have pride of place.

#4  We are dead in the water until "bred and credentialed to work in the Beltway apparatus" becomes a crime punishable by permanent exile for the breeders, credentialers and their work product.

#3  Of course not. He actually on the record not thinking that Islam is "Religion of Peace", and may've even concluded that the differences between an average Muslim and a clinically certified psychopath are not that great.

#2  "to reassure people about her judgment."

Her lack of judgment to use your military at Benghazi was sufficient evidence, General Cockroach.

#1  He also suggested she suffers from "credibility issues" on national security and transparency,

Issues easily ignored by a man who led an agency steeped in 'credibility' and 'transparency' issues.
