40 ISIS Turbans die in attack in Heet
(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – Commander of Jazeera Operations Major General Qassim al-Mohamadi announced that 40 ISIS members were killed after repulsing an attack on the city of Heet west of Ramadi.
Mohamadi said in a statement, “ISIS attacked Heet from Hayy al-Bakr area in Heet Island, north of the city. The outfit attacked the area with rockets, missiles and different weapons.”
“The international coalition aviation and Iraqi Air Force repulsed the attack and killed 40 ISIS members,” Mohamadi added.
Earlier today, Heet Mayor Mohanad Zabar announced that an attack launched by ISIS on Heet center has been foiled and the security situation is under control.
