#2  Quid quo pro in reverse: the Saudis have not provided the promised, and very much needed, financial support, and they announced they would not be continuing the discounted oil sales, which was apparently because Egypt had not joined some Saudi initiative at the UN, so Egypt will not continue in the Saudi's little war.
