#6 In America we never developed a system to identify standards and IMPLEMENT standards for Politicians who overstep the bounds of common decency. Something like a "Reform through Labor" camp featuring working in a Mine in southern Arizona just north of the Pinacate Inferno and living in tents in a compound surrounded by razor wire and guard dogs about a hundred miles from the nearest road. |

#5 Indeed - although I wonder who was so tone-deaf to the PR aspects as to even start the process in the first place. Didn't anyone have the slightest idea of how very bad it would look, clawing back the money ten years after the fact, after the soldiers had already held up their side of the bargain? I doubt that the soldiers who have already made payments will be reimbursed, though. Pity, but the Big Green Military Machine will always have the last word. |

#2 Obama’s golf weekend with Tiger Woods cost taxpayers more than $3.6 million Tugs at my heart strings, money well spent on recreation. I wonder what the late SGM Earl D. Woods would say ? |
