FBI Reopens Clinton E-Mail Probe
2016-10-28
As Drudge says, developing. Guess Comey rediscovered the concept of intent?
Posted by:Raj

#39  g(r)omgoru, I believe they prefer to keep the illusion that the vote counts. In such a case letting her lose might be an advantage since she's tainted and universally hated.
Posted by: rjschwarz   2016-10-28 22:45

#38  ...embrace the power of 'and'.
Posted by: Procopius2k   2016-10-28 21:14

#37  Make that 4-cents:
HRC, when asked about this latest verisimilitude eruption by an NBC reporter, laughed it off. Comey drops one on her and that is her response?!

Either:
1. She is a freaking psychopath; or
2. The Clintons are powerful enough that they think they can make it go away.

Jeebus!

#36  My 2-cents:
1. Comey, watching the stealing of an election by those who had him, somehow, by the balls, finally had enough and played his hole card; and
2. Mr. Comey should be placed under "Suicide Watch" using well-vetted and dangerous observers.

#35  They are doing this intentionally. If she wins, Obama can pardon her so she can get on with it. If she loses he can still pardon her and protect her. This is no bombshell. Just politics.

#34  #32 - Maybe an Al Capone's tax returns moment? We can hope...

#32  Not sure why the original investigation did not lead FBI to Huma's home computer but the sexting case did? It should of been near the top of the list years ago; including within a routine security audit.
Posted by: airandee   2016-10-28 19:15

#31  Smells to me like Huma is being set up to take the fall. She'd best steer clear from Ft Marcy park...
Posted by: OldSpook   2016-10-28 18:47

#30  While examining Weiner's laptop, investigators discovered Abedin also used the laptop, which contained some emails between Abedin and Clinton, NBC News reported.

Strikes me as just a bit too fortuitous.
Posted by: g(r)omgoru   2016-10-28 18:45

#29  There is historical precedent. This isn't the first time a Clinton got tripped up by a Weiner exposure problem.
Posted by: OldSpook   2016-10-28 18:31

#28  Maybe this is enough to stick this time - since apparently a lot of FBI agents have threatened to quit over the roll-over and whitewash from Comey on the previous case that was obviously thrown by him. That being said...

Someone duct tape Trumps mouth shut for the weekend, please.

It seems every time we get something like this he says or does something idiotic to put the spotlight on himself and off Hillary.

Let her twist in the wind, nothing else to distract form the chorus of emails revealing her and Podesta's lies and deceits, and now hopefully so much criminal evidence that not even Obama and Comey can hide it.

Secondary Bonus: this is a nice point for the case against early voting.
Posted by: OldSpook   2016-10-28 18:29

#27  So, Huma is the Clinton-Weiner connection?
Posted by: Skidmark   2016-10-28 18:25

#26  European Conservative, they'll probably have Disney CGI experts working on it all weekend.
Posted by: rjschwarz   2016-10-28 18:10

#25  If Clinton was violating the laws pertaining to classified information and campaign finance that would be a big story.
Posted by: Megyn Kelly   2016-10-28 17:54

#24  Kaine cancelled a campaign stop unexpectedly and without explanation yesterday.

Probably found out that nobody was gonna be there.

#21  @#4 and #5:

It's easier for the DoJ and FBI to grant immunity than it is for POTUS to grant pardons...

#20  Looking more and more like this just ain't a bunch of evil geniuses at work here...

#19  If I was a Dem apparatchik I'd be going for plan B, let Hillary sink and make sure Trump is only a one-term President.

But don't you think it's dangerous letting smelly, ignorant peasants People think they can elect whomever they please?

#17  It is classical federal late Friday dump time for the bad news.
Posted by: Procopius2k   2016-10-28 15:53

#16  According to Drudge, the device belonged to Huma and has copies of thousands of emails Weiner sent to a 15 y.o. girl. Too rich

YJCMTSU

Has to be big to release 11 days out. Think you're right about needing additional immunity. Maybe the Lynch/Clinton/Comey cluster-fuck has been uncovered and about to see the light of day and he needs more cards to play
Posted by: Warthog   2016-10-28 15:41

#15  I think she's simply putting her faith into voting machine programmers, JQC
Posted by: g(r)omgoru   2016-10-28 15:27

#14  Reports say "another device" is the source of the new emails...

"Smash this with a hammer and get me another one! NOW!!!"

"That witch. She has no idea how hard these f*ckers are getting to find on eBay. I'ma 'factory reset' this one and put it in that drawer..."
Posted by: M. Murcek   2016-10-28 15:27

#13  Just something to keep the peasants quiet & content unit Nov 10th.
Posted by: g(r)omgoru   2016-10-28 15:25

#12  This is all wishful thinking on a balmy end of October Friday afternoon in the good ol rust belt, BUT... Kaine cancelled a campaign stop unexpectedly and without explanation yesterday. Story in that somewhere, perhaps?
Posted by: M. Murcek   2016-10-28 15:09

#11  Her speech is very flat and unconnected. She seems very off- balance. She is ignoring the elephant in the room--WikiLeaks and the new FBI probe.. Her rent-a-crowd seems small and the responses seem tepid. I wonder who wrote this stuff for her. Her corruption is just might be catching up with her.

Whether the Dems or Pubs are in power, "Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom."

#10   100 most damaging Podesta emails. It is difficult to imagine the amount of corruption surrounding the Clintons and the cancer that has spread around them and into the institutions of our government. The Wicked Witch of the North is speaking now--no mention of anything pertaining to the new FBI probe yet. She's pitching "Stronger Together" which has become a metaphor for corruption.

#9  I'd love to see Clinton's reaction upon hearing the news - in slow motion on a continuous loop.

#8  This whole thing is little more than a monkey trying to fuck a football.

Now there's your visual of the day!
Posted by: Raj   2016-10-28 14:50

#7  I think this is just motion to make it look like they are doing something. As soon as McKacklepants' bloated and dying carcass is dragged over the finish line the investigation will be round filed.

This whole thing is little more than a monkey trying to fuck a football. A lot of movement with nothing being accomplished.

#5  Or maybe Jim Comey just found more Clinton cronies he needed to immunize before 2017 and he couldn't do that w/ a closed investigation.

A most plausible explanation. Does anyone seriously believe the current FBI will do anything of substance?

#3  Maybe a "truth-torpedo" on its way to the Clinton Campaign? New e-mails proving criminal activity?

Wikileaks made it impossible for Comey and Company to look past this any longer. No doubt internal FBI dissension helped also.

The next 96 hours will be critical (imo).

Would the FBI expose itself to more blow-back if they didn't, this time, have incontrovertible evidence?

#2  As if Comey won't stay bought?
