| #7 Flineger, for what it's worth, I'd be about the last person to be amused by self-inflicted death per se. I should've kept quiet, and would have if I'd remembered the Hasan connection before posting. |

| #4 So sad. Gets a promotion at the apex of a long and successful career, and decides on suicide instead. Way too common among younger servicemen of lower ranks and high combat/rotational stress, but rare at his level. Must have had something going on under the surface. |
