Mother Jones: DNC Officials Told FBI of Evidence That Offices May Have Been Bugged
2016-11-06
The Democratic National Committee recently told the FBI that it collected evidence last month suggesting that its Washington offices had been bugged, two party officials told Mother Jones magazine.

"We were told that this was something that could pick up calls from cellphones," one official said about a radio signal found near the chairman's office that indicated that a listening device might be located outside the office. "The guys who did the sweep said it was a strong indication."

No device was recovered, however. No possible culprits were identified, according to the report.

#5  Couldn't figure out who the Project Veritas mole was, so it must have been a bug, perhaps.

Either that or they've bugged the Republican Party headquarters, and are projecting pre-emptively.

#4  Three possibles:

1. A mobile monitoring system

2. A femtocell/cell phone signal booster

3. Amway's spying on them (they have an office next door.)

Most likely it's what MikeK said.

#3  ..If the FBI - whose technical excellence is legendary - couldn't find a bug, then there wasn't one there. I think the DNC is absolutely losing their sh!t over the fact that Malificent isn't ahead by double digits, and on top of that, Trump may have done something no other Republican candidate has done in living memory - gotten inside the Democrats' OODA loop even if just briefly. The only explanation, at least according to the DNC, would be a bug since Trump is a Republican and Nixon was a Republican and it's the only goddamned thing we can think of.

#2  So, no evidence, just agitprop from the DNC and their paid commie chihuahuas at Mother Jones

#1  I charge 1,400 a day plus travel and stripend to to sweep with a frequency counter, IR Note, and a multi-meter for the land lines. Can hack for bonus. Restore data? maybe.
