[Manila Times] Four Philippine soldiers were injured in a roadside bombing on Monday morning in Basilan. Military spokesman Filemon Tan said the troops were patrolling Barangay Sabong in Lamitan City when the bomb exploded. The injured soldiers were evacuated to a military hospital in Zamboanga City.No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack but the province is a major Abu Sayyaf stronghold.
