...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... is fighting an insurgency by the PKK in the largely Kurdish southeast and it has previously dismissed hundreds of teachers it said were linked to the turban group while tossed in the calaboose ... anything you say can and will be used against you, whether you say it or not... pro-Kurdish politicians. Turkey has sacked or suspended more than 125,000 state officials since a failed coup attempt in July. It was not immediately clear whether the 10,500 Muezzinoglu was referring to were part of that number or an additional purge. | |
