| Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Commander of Tigris Operations, Major General Mazhar al-Ezzawi announced seizing two explosive vests in an operation near Baqubah. Ezzawi said in a press statement, “Security forces from Tigris Operations managed to seize two explosive vets ready for detonation, in a military operation on a hideout near Baqubah.” “The operation was carried out based on accurate intelligence information,” Ezzawi explained. “The [Tigris] Operation managed to foil several terrorist plans during the previous months to weaken stability and security in different areas of Diyala,” Ezzawi added. Tigris Operations announced seizing many explosive vests in different areas of Diyala in the last months during different military operations. |
