(LeT) terrorist Abu Dujana was involved in a shootout between bully boyz and security forces late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, but managed to escape.
Dujana was earlier believed to be killed in the encounter in south Kashmire’s Anantnag district.
"A search operation was launched at Hassanpora village in Bijbehara area of Anantnag early morning following specific intelligence inputs about the presence of forces of Evil in the village. The security forces were conducting a search operation following the tip-off, when the forces of Evil shot up them and that triggered the encounter," a senior Jammu & Kashmire police official said on condition of anonymity.
Dujana, one of the most wanted forces of Evil in the valley, had made several appearances in the protest rallies that had been staged in Kashmire, following the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen leader, Burhan Wani, earlier this year.
