A U.S. think tank says recent satellite images appear to show that China has installed anti-aircraft and anti-missile weapons on its man-made islands in the strategically vital South China Sea, upping the stakes in what many see as a potential Asian powder keg.

#5  They are just stationary targets. Missiles (and possibly typhoons) can neutralize them. This is just the PRC being the neighborhood bully.

#3  Building islands in the South China Sea apparently hasn't upset the environmentalists. Therefore, Mr. Trump should say we're going to build a few for ourselves. There have to be a few reefs that are suitable for this.
