| [NYDAILYNEWS] The sister of a Moslem student who concocted a tale of subway harassment by three white men blamed the NYPD and the media for her sibling’s lies in a Facebook rant. "I’m not excusing what my sister did," Sara Seweid posted Thursday on her page. "I was horrified yesterday and I’m still trying to grapple with the facts." "Things snowballed out of our control because of the media ... Reporters made things so much worse for our family." Yasmin Seweid, 18, finally admitted to police that she spun a phony tale of verbal abuse from three white men shouting "Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... !" because she missed curfew, sources told the Daily News. |
