| Islamist field commander killed in an explosion in Idlib province |

| [ALMASDARNEWS] A field commander in "Ahrar Al Sham" islamist group known as Abu Uday was assassinated on Saturday night in an kaboom near the town of Ma'arrat al-Nu'uman in Idlib province. According to a military source, Syrian military intelligence agents planted an IED (improvised bomb) under Uday's car and detonated it when he was inside.
