The Syrian Army assault began on Sunday morning, when their battalions fired several missiles and artillery shells towards the terrorist group's gathering points around the villages of Mushrafit Abou Jabbar and Bijan. Following the initial attack, the Syrian Armed Forces launched a second round of missiles and artillery shells towards the Islamic State's positions, scoring direct hits on a number of sites amid the terrorist group's attempted evasion. According to a military source at the Kuweires Military Airport, more than 50 Islamic State murderous Moslems were killed or maimed during this powerful assault on Sunday, marking one of the highest casualty totals for the terrorist group this month. |
