| 11 PKK positions destroyed in N Iraq, sez Turks |

| The Turkish army destroyed 11 outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) positions in airstrikes against the terrorist group in northern Iraq, the Turkish military said late on Jan. 6. According to a statement issued by the Turkish General Staff, fighter jets carried out the airstrikes in the Qandil region of northern Iraq on Jan. 6 between 6:58 and 7:55 p.m. (3:58 and 4:55 p.m. GMT). |
