| Tribal elder dies in roadside bomb attack near Zabul |

| Haji Mohammad Popal a tribal elder from the Shahr-e-Safa district of Zabul province was killed on Saturday when his vehicle hit a roadside mine, local officials said. Abdul Samad Durani, the district governor for Shahr-e-Safa district, confirmed the incident and said the incident occurred when Popal was on his way to home. So far no group including the Taliban claimed responsibility. |
