| [al-Manar] Units of Yemeni army and Popular Committees fought off Sunday night two major advances by the Saudi-led coalition militiamen in Shabwa province from Asilan side. A Yemeni military source stated that the aggression militiamen tried to advance from two axes under heavy aerial coverage by the Saudi-US aggression warplanes. The source confirmed that “a large number of the aggression mercenaries were killed or wounded in Asilan,” adding that “the dead bodies were left on the battlefield.” “The militiamen crawl lasted for hours and was covered by more than 10 air strikes, four of them threw cluster bombs,” the source said. |
