| Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham launches surprise offensive in northern Aleppo |

Front) launched a surprise offensive in the northern outskits of Aleppo City on Monday, targeting the Syrian Arab Army's positions near the al-Malaah Farms. Jabhat Fateh al-Sham began the attack by storming the Syrian Arab Army's checkpoints near the western part of the al-Malaah Farms; this resulted in a series of festivities that lasted for only two hours on Monday. According to a military source in Aleppo, the Syrian Arab Army foiled the jihadist offensive, killing a dozen enemy combatants that tried to infiltrate their points in the al-Malaah area. The military source added that the Lions of Islam used the current ceasefire in the Aleppo Governorate to build-up their forces around Haritan's eastern perimeter; this is where they attacked from. |
