| #4 I strongly encourage them to do this. It should work out about as well as the forward positioning of Red Army troops in early 1941. |

| #1 I think this is the 3rd or 4th time Iran has said they would do this. Their problem is that their few frigates, missle carriers and other similar sized ships have no experience doing this and the ships would be in big trouble if some systems mulfunctioned. Iran has some subs which could probably make it to the atlantic and back again but these ships are needed in the Persian Gulf. |
