According to local reports from activists in east Homs, the Syrian Arab Army has made some gains so far, despite having limited air support from the Russian and Syrian air forces this afternoon. The Syrian Arab Army recently made some gains east of the T-4 Military Airport; however, as long as the Islamic State still holds Jabal Jazal, Jabal Shaer, Mahr Gas Fields, and Jabal Hayyan, then they will be in good position to reverse the government gains. |
