Russian Syrian wargame pulled from Steam |
2017-03-02 |
South Front claims the game was pulled because it was too pro Russian, which is a typical charge for that crowd. The game developer said an anonymous individual from the czech Republic filed a copyright violation claim with Steam. The game's developer said that they had previously contacted an unidentified developer for permission to use parts of their game, but they were not given as reply. They went ahead with their own version of the game. The developer said their game is separate from the game. They wanted to use it as a base. Isometric graphics don't appeal to me The game platform I do use, Arma 3 features mods for the Syrian civil war. As I have said elsewhere: The Syrian Civil War will provide fodder for wargamers for the next 20 years. It is the Great Patriotic War of modern times. |
